It performs at a very high speed, with the ability to erase multiple drives at the same time. The unit supports many erase protocols, including DoD 5220-22M (ECE) erase specification (with seven writing passes and one verification pass), DoD Lite 5220-22M (E) erase specification (with three writing passes and one verification pass), Enhanced Security Erase (For SATA drives), Sanitize (three types to be used with SAS SSD), NVMe-Format/NVMe Secure Erase (for NVMe SSD), and User defined erase settings. The unit is designed to enable the user to erase data from up to 7 storage devices at the same time.
